Electrophoresis gel ABSTRACT Gel showing the results of the PCRs I did to amplify the backbone region of the standardize plasmid. Yesterday I did 5 PCR reactions, 3 of them trying to amplify the backbone region of the standard pBBRMCS5 and the other two for control. Today I ran an electrophoresis gel to see the products of this reactions: As you see only the control reaction 2 goes well, this indicates that the reagents used for all the PCRs are good and that the primers for backbone amplification are also good. Because this strategy is not resulting we are going to use another enzyme, like Taq Polymerase.
