Objectives filter 25 % beads down to 120 mesh we will combine beads smaller than 45 and bigger than 60 with the ones smaller than 35 and bigger than 45, as there are so few re-check weight of Round 2 10 % beads to see whether they swelled more Notes 20 ml vials will be used for acid exchange. the beads will soak over several nights in acid, then acid will be exchanged for water and change in pH over time will be measured. then, we will run cabbage dye through bead columns Observations it seems like the biggest beads take up the most volume, but may not necessarily predominate in absolute number
