AFM sample preparation To 100ml of bacteria innoculum in a microvial, add 100ul of AMP and label as untreated To 100ml of bacteria innoculum in a microvial, add 100ul of AMP and 6ul of AMP and label as treated Put both microvial into the shaking incubate and leave for 15 mins Wash, centrifuge and vortex the microvials 3 times with 0.9% NaCl To the pellet after washing, add in 500ul of 50% ethanol and then vortex and centrifuge To the pellet after washing with 50% ethanol, add in 500ul of 90% ethanol and then vortex and centrifuge Pipette 10ul of each treated and the untreated mixture onto the microscope glass. Spread the samples beside each other Leave the sample to dry for 15 mins
