New to the Lab
- Visit EHS to finish the required trainings. You must finish all the trainings before stepping into the lab
- Request keycard access of Rm232 (and of Rm228 if you will culture cells) from David Lee
- Contact Nanotech West staff for orientation and training if you will do micro/nanofabrication.
- Calculate your "chit" #, and prepare your CV. Keep both on file
Lab Responsibilities
- Take detailed notes during expriments
- Turn off the illuminators of the microscope whenever you are not using them
- Keep the lab clean, and clean the mess after your experiment
- Lock the door whenever you are the last left the lab
- Place things back to where you get them
- Place the packing slips your received in the paper box in the lab
