Ran colony PCR reactions from Friday (?). Every lane, including the positive control, had a band of about 200 base pairs. There was no smearing. I don't know what went wrong but I at least learned that you shouldn't run 30 PCR reactions without knowing if the primers will work on the positive control. | |||
