Modelling: Introduction
Modelling provides us with a means of obtaining an integrated understanding of the behaviour of a system, in this case, in a biological context. In other words, this process serves to answer the following fundamental questions:
- How a biological system works; a means of "observing" the sum of parts of a biological system?
- Why it performs in a particular way? (design principles)
