Dye Addition
Dye addition to samples was done at a range of concentrations from 20 μM - 200 μM and was added to 1mL of sample. The samples need at least 24 hours in order to soak in the dye.
Samples were placed in eppendorf tubes and manually shaken/ stirred for approximately 2 minutes each in order to mix dye and prepare samples for absorption/ crosslinking. Samples were left overnight. NOTES
