20.309:Updates for DNA Melting Module

• The assignment for the DNA melting module asks for the following measurements:

 1. 20 bp oligos in solution of varying ionic strength
 2. Perfect match, single mismatch and complete mismatch (unknown)
 3. 40 bp versus 20 bp perfect match oligos

To reduce the required lab time, you can choose to do either 1 OR 3. 2 should be done to validate your system (ideally at end of week Sept 15-19).

• The due date for the DNA melting module is October 10 as indicated on the schedule (not October 24).
