  • Today we ran a gel to confirm PCR results. Our results showed that we actually lost all our DNA during purification because we cannot see any DNA on our gel. We do know that PCR worked because we can see our positive control worked. Since we do not have any more DNA left we will run RT-PCR on Tuesday for RNA and then a gel to confirm results on Thursday.
  • Today we continued to extract DNA from our onion. We will run a gel on Tuesday to confirm that we had DNA.
