Competent Cell Test To test the competency of the two batches of DH5a competent cells (Batch ‘A’ and ‘B’)and one batch of BW27783 competent cells One glycerol stock was made from each of the batches by adding: 14uL 100% glycerol 86uL competent cells Freeze in -80 freezer for 30 minutes Each aliquot was transformed following the British Columbia iGEM Transformation protocol using 1uL of 5ng/uL pBADwt+RFP All 3 aliquots were plated on chloramphenicol plates
