Floor One Made 1 % agarose gel - 2 x large - 2 x 100 ml TBE buffer and 1 g agarose. Melted in microwave til agarose dissolved. Prepared spore stocks of all lawns. Did as much lawning and streak purifying as was possile with available SFM + Ny media. Made 6 x 500 ml SFM agar, autoclaved for 1 hr and poured into plates. Loaded and ran gels - added 4 ul loading dye to each sample (46). Used 2 x ladder (1 Kb). Made up more liquid Nystatin (50 mg/ml) - 10 ml DMSO and 500 mg Nystatin.
