Schumer lab: DNA extraction

• The low coverage whole genome sequencing we do in the lab requires 5ng of DNA per sample that should be 10kb or above.

• We use the Agencourt DNAdvance kit (Beckman Coulter A48705) kit according to manufacturer suggestions except in half reactions.
