SOP for Waste Animal Tissue: 1. If you have waste animal tissue, please put it in a plastic bag and deposit in the yellow bin in Tomlinson Freezer 1 (hallway), rather than putting it directly into the red biohazard waste. 2. If you have completed a red biohazard waste container and are marking it for pickup, please check the yellow bin for any animal tissue that may need to be disposed. 3. Tissue in the yellow bin is “up for grabs” – don’t expect anything to stay in the bin for long and anyone is welcome to use the tissue. Updated: 4/4/2017
