Recipe

• 50% v/v PEM
• 50% v/v PEM-[math]\displaystyle{ \kappa }[/math]C (0.25 mg/mL [math]\displaystyle{ \kappa }[/math]-casein)
• 1 mM PEM-A

Notes

When preparing a motility solution, you must dilute the kinesin in PEM-[math]\displaystyle{ \kappa }[/math]CA. This is nothing more than a dilution of PEM-[math]\displaystyle{ \kappa }[/math]C with 1 mM ATP in the solution.

I usually prepare 100 µL for daily experiments.
