Recipe

• 50% v/v PEM
• 50% v/v PEM-[math]\displaystyle{ \kappa }[/math]C
• 10 µM Taxol

Notes

This is a dilution of PEM-[math]\displaystyle{ \kappa }[/math]C from 0.5 mg/mL to 0.25 mg/mL with the addition of 10 µM Taxol. This solution is used for the motility assay.

I typically will prepare this every time I go to make a motility solution. Mainly because it requires the use of Taxol and I do not want to have any solution that contains Taxol sitting around for very long.
