Cameron Neylon visited the lab yesterday so I didn't get to check on the PCR results, but the reaction finished and I am doing a gel of the product now. I will post the results on yesterday's post. While this is going I will preplan my digestion of the PCR with BstXI. If the PCR worked then I will Qiakit it. If not then I will go back to the drawing board. Also I placed an order for pBR322. I ordered another 50ug. Finally I am going to design a google template for gels. My gels as they are aren't too descriptive, but is enough for me to read. I figure it would work the best in Word or Illustrator, but google docs might be the easiest. Google Spreadsheet allows me to insert pictures but only from the web for some reason. I guess this might be ok, but I would have to upload my image to OWW first. I'll practice. I def want feedback on alternatives so this could become widespread.

I think it makes most sense to use powerpoint or something to label each lane and then create a new picture to upload to OWW. Perhaps Google Presentation would work.
