Preparation of reducing agent stock solution 10 mL of 100mM reducing agent stock solution: 0.01 L* 100*-3 mol/L* 180.16 g/mol = 0.18016 g Fructose 0.01 L* 100*-3 mol/L* 180.156 g/mol = 0.180156 g Galactose 0.01 L* 100*-3 mol/L* 168 g/mol = 0.168 g Chitosan + 0.168 g* 4.75 mL/g = 0.798 mL HCl 0.01 L* 100*-3 mol/L* 342.296 g/mol = 0.342 g Sucrose 0.01 L* 100*-3 mol/L* 176.1 g/mol = 0.1761 g H2Asc -4 mL of cellulose solution --> 2.5 mM AuNP solution preparation -0.1 mL HAuCl4 + 0.1 mL 100 mM reducing agent + 3.8 mL H2O. -About Cellulose, 0.1 mL HAuCl4 was added to 3.9 mL of that. -7 test tubes were placed in water bath at 80 0C till color changes were observed.
