Solution observations Only 1x [total AA] at pH 9 solutions appear to have made the Au-S polymer. There does not seem to be a noticeable difference in the amount of polymers between the C1st and A1st solutions. The 2x solutions did not make visible white polymers (like we had previously seen) in any of the solutions. The 2x pH 9 solutions were moderately yellow. The C1st solution is noticeably more yellow than the A1st solution. The C1st solution could potentially contain polymers, as it is much more opaque. The 1x ph 12 solution did not make any polymers, however it was yellow, but not nearly in the magnitude of the 2x pH9 solutions. The 2x ph 12 solution did not make any polymers, and remained clear.
