I learned about OpenWetWare from From my colleague, Maria Yancheva, and I've joined because I am working on a summer research project that aims to produce tools which help scientists in various ways. I am working on a "data insertion tool" that allows users to insert tables and graphs in wikis without having to deal with the wiki format markup. I am hoping to find as much feedback as possible from non-technical wiki users who find inserting tables in wikis tiresome, and/or would like to produce more sophisticated data visualization tools in wiki pages..
