Please briefly describe any previous laboratory experience
I have worked as a UROP in the Jacks Lab (Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research) since Fall 2008. My previous work includes some ImmunoHistoChemistry work, mammalian cell culture (derived from mice small cell lung cancer), maintaining the rodents in the lab, and some molecular biology techniques (genotyping; DNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis). My current project is to study a potential gene involved in the formation and metastases of small cell lung cancer.
