Research objectives
- To develop and characterize nanoparticulate systems for delivery of drugs and biological agents
- To develop targeted nanotherapeutic agents for tissue specific drug delivery in cancer
- To investigate the efficacy of non-viral delivery of therapeutic nucleic acid agents
- To develop oral and injectable formulations of poorly soluble drugs
- To conduct physicochemical and cell biological studies of the novel delivery systems
- To conduct preclinical studies aimed at translation of targeted cancer therapy
