Week 1 Feedback

  • Thank you for submitting your assignment on time.
  • All of the requested items were found on your user page except for what is noted below. You have the opportunity to go back and fix these items to earn back points that you lost on the assignment. The changes will be due at midnight February 7, when the Week 3 assignment is due.
    • You created a "mailto" link, which is fine, but you may be subjecting yourself to spam since this is a public site. You can switch over to using the OWW mail form instead if you want.
    • For the file upload, we wanted you to use a non-image filetype, such as pdf. Please go ahead and display your sample graph on the page and select a non-image file to link to.
    • You created and invoked your template. You need to move the list of links to the journal assignments, your individual journals, and the shared journals to the template. That way, all of those links will show up whenever you invoke the template (which you will do for subsequent assignments).
    • Don't forget to sign your contribution to the shared journal with your wiki signature.
    • You wrote something in the summary field 92% of the time. We are aiming for 100%, keep up the good work!
  • I'm glad that you now consider yourself more of a biologist, welcome! (Not all biologists like all things about biology.)

Week 2 Feedback

  • Thank you for submitting your assignment on time.
  • You will be receiving a hard copy of your individual journal with corrections.
  • You had all of the requested links on your User and individual journal pages.
  • You wrote something in the summary field 100% of the time, excellent work! You might consider saving your changes more often. You only made 10 edits to the page, which is the minimum I would have expected for this assignment.
  • Make sure that you reference the Assignment page in your References section.
