Week 1 Feedback

I am posting the feedback on your Week 1 assignment here.

• Thank you for submitting your assignment on time.
• All of the requested items were found on your user page except for what is noted below. You have the opportunity to go back and fix these items to earn back points that you lost on the assignment. The changes will be due at midnight February 7, when the Week 3 assignment is due.
  • Please give your name above your contact information, since your username is not formatted like a formal name.
  • In order for your OWW mailto link to work, you need to set an e-mail address in your profile.
  • When you use the Biology Department as your snail mail address, it needs to appear in it's own line. In the wiki, you need to skip a line for text to appear on the next line.
  • When using headers, don't use the single "=" sign. That level is reserved for the title of the page. Start with "==" and then nest "===" and "====" beneath each other; don't skip levels. I.e., don't go directly from "==" to "====", bypassing "===".
  • You used your resume as your file upload. However, the filename is very generic, "My_Resume.pdf". You can imagine that many other people could choose that filename for their resumes. Please change the name of that file to include your name, re-upload it and link it. Moving forward, be in the habit of using your name or initials in filenames (including a date is also a good practice).
  • Please correct the category to [[Category:BIOL388/S19]]. I had made a mistake in the assignment by not updating it to the current semester. I did not take off points for this, but I do request that you change it.
  • You did not need to create a personal journal page for this week; the user page was your individual page for this week. All shared reflections can go directly onto the class shared page.
  • In your Acknowledgments section, the wiki syntax for the link to Leanne's user page is incorrect, so it shows up as a red link. Please fix the link.
  • When you reference the Week 1 Assignment page, please use the APA format for a website.
  • You wrote something in the summary field 97% of the time. We are aiming for 100%, keep up the good work!

Week 2 Feedback

• Thank you for submitting your assignment on time.
• You will be receiving a hard copy of your individual journal with corrections.
• You had all of the requested links on your User and individual journal pages.
• However, you are not following the naming convention for your individual journal page. You called it "Individual_Journal" instead of "Austindias Week 2". Please use the "move" tab at the top of your page to change this page name.
• You wrote something in the summary field for 37/38 edits (97%), keep up the good work!
