Week 4 Feedback

This is feedback on your Week 4 assignment.

  • Your individual assignment was late and incomplete and there was no contribution to the class journal page. While you wrote your bullet points for the Global AIDS: Myths and Facts and your research question, your page was missing the purpose, conclusion, acknowledgments, and references sections.
  • In the future, I would like you to come talk to me about a possible extension on the deadline instead of turning things in late.

Week 3 Feedback

This is feedback on your Week 3 assignment.

  • Thank you for submitting your assignment on time.
  • You completed all the tasks, except for a couple of issues with your References list.
    • When you referenced the Week 3 assignment page, you did not change it from Week 1 to Week 3.
    • Your citations for the ebooks had an incorrect format. They are cited like a book, with editor names, and then have the "Retrieved..." statement at the end.

Week 1 Feedback

This is feedback on your Week 1 assignment.

  • Thank you for submitting your individual assignment on time. Your shared journal was a little late and it looks like you missed one of the questions. In the future, make sure you leave yourself enough time to complete the assignment before the deadline.
  • You wrote something in the summary field for 22 out of 30 saves, 73%. This is OK, but remember, we are aiming for 100%.
  • You completed all of the tasks, except for the following:
    • You have a typo in your course list "Comparative" is the correct spelling.
    • Please provide a little more description for the two research projects you listed.
    • Please provide some more information about your work responsibilities for the job you mentioned. (Also, you have a typo in the word "Assistant".
    • Please use three levels of headers, you only have two levels on your page right now. You are using the "==" and "===" levels, and you need to add the "====" level.
    • You uploaded and displayed an image on the page, but you also need to upload and link to another type of file, like a PDF file of your resume or a paper you have written. The process is almost the same, with a slight difference in the syntax for linking to the file. Let me know if you have questions on how to do this.
    • Your external link to the poem has extra square brackets around it that can be removed. For links that are internal to the wiki, you use 2 sets of brackets, but for external links you only use one set of brackets.
    • Your template has the list of your individual journals and class journals; please also make a list of the Assignment pages themselves.
    • You created your template, but you did not invoke it our use it on your page. Instead of copying and pasting the code for your list of journal links, you just need to use the code {{lurbinah}} on your user page and everything you put on your template page will appear there. Thus, the extra link you put to your template page at the bottom underneath the references is not needed.
  • You also can remove your name from the top of the page because you have it listed again under your Contact Information section.
  • You will be able to earn back the points lost in the assignment by submitting corrections by the Week 3 assignment deadline, 12:01am on Thursday, February 6.
  • I answered your question on my User talk page. Kam D. Dahlquist (talk) 09:46, 31 January 2020 (PST)
