Today's Goals Today we will analayze the results from the PCR we carried out Tuesday. Dr. Schwekendiek put the reactions into the -20C freezer and we will now anlayze the results on a 1.2% agarose gel. For pouring the gel, we dissolved 1.2 g agarose in 100 ml TBE buffer and boiled it in the microwave. We added 1 ul Ehtidium bromide and poured the gel. The we ran our samples in the following order: lane1 5 ul 1 kb ladder lane 2 46C PCR product lane 3 48C PCR product lane 4 50C PCR product lane 5 52C PCR product lane 6
