Dialysis

  • This method comprises the using of 3500 MWCO dialysis tubing containing AuNPs stabilized with BSA and Arg, dipping in DI water, Glycine buffer and HdMe2ImCl, separately. We also analyzed dialysis tubing containing DI water against HdMe2ImCl. The absorbance of solution from different jars was recorded at the wavelength of 211 nm using spectrophotometer at 30-minute intervals. Since many factors affect the rate of dialysis like the diffusion coefficients, pH, temperature, time and the concentration of species, the UV-visible spectra of the inside and outside solution of each jar were recorded after a week by UV-Vis spectrometer at the wavelength range of 200-800 nm.
