Synthesizing AuNPs using H2O and D2O In order to investigate the effect of H atom in the formation of AuNPs, we conducted two parallel experiment using H2O and D2O as a solvent. 1) -1 mL D2O was added to AuCl3 and it was shaken gently. -0.1 mL of 1 M NaOH in D2O + 0.0008 g Arg + 0.9 mL D2O were added to the sample. -Sample was covered with foil. 2) All the samples were placed in the oven for 4 hours.
